Every motor is balanced, blueprinted and assembled to MDR specs. Your bare block is checked for cracks and defects after that we check for correct dimentions of mains, cylinder bore, and deck.  We take special care to check everything to make sure we are starting with a good foundation before we begin to machine the block.  Any defects in block or crank will cause it to fail MDR inspection and the build will be stoped.  We do this to make sure that we minimize any risk of premature failures.

A good core for block, crank, squirters, squirter bolts, and caps are required.  If you do not have something due to a major failure we will do our best to locate good cores for you.

We always get asked what horsepower the motors are rated for and in a perfect world they should handle anything, but lets face it nothing is ever perfect.  If we had to put a hp number on each motor we would say that the Stage 1 is good to 600 and the Stage 2 is good to 950.  Many things come into play when it comes to how well a motor can handle power.  Tune, octane, peak torque, Rpm, maintenance, oil type, etc are major factors.  Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
